Y weinyddiaeth ym Mae Caerdydd sy’n gyfrifol am wasanaethau iechyd ac addysg ers i lywodraeth Lafur Tony Blair sefydlu Cynulliad Cenedlaethol ar gyfer Cymru yn 1999.

Mae Llafur wedi bod mewn grym, fel y blaid fwyaf yn y Senedd, ers hynny.

Gan Lywodraeth y DU y daw’r rhan fwyaf o gyllid y llywodraeth yng Nghymru – mae gweinidogion yng Nghaerdydd wedi cwyno nad yw’r llywodraeth Geidwadol yn Llundain yn rhoi digon o arian.

Yn ystod y flwyddyn ddiwethaf, mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi torri gwasanaethau cyhoeddus er mwyn cynnal y gwasanaeth iechyd.

Dywed Syr Keir Starmer, sy’n ymweld â de Cymru: “Bydd y camau cyntaf hyn yn gwneud gwir wahaniaeth i fywydau pobl.

“Os ydych yn aros am driniaeth gan y GIG, os yw eich plentyn yn yr ysgol ac os ydych eisiau safonau uwch, os yw ymddygiad gwrthgymdeithasol yn amharu ar eich ardal, os ydych eisiau biliau ynni rhatach, bydd y camau cyntaf yma yn dangos beth fydd dwy lywodraeth Lafur, gan gydweithio, yn ei wneud i’ch helpu chi.”
