Mae Angela Frayling-James, 40, yn rhedeg Sweet Home Alpaca gyda’i gŵr Alex, tyddyn bach ger y Garn yn Sir Benfro.

Dywedodd bod ei theulu wedi’u llorio ar ôl i 120 o ieir ar eu heiddo gael eu heffeithio.

“Roedd popeth yn iawn ddydd Sadwrn ond erbyn bore Sul roedd saith iâr wedi marw ac roedd mwy yn sâl.

“Wnes i ffonio APHA (Asiantaeth Iechyd Anifeiliaid a Phlanhigion) ar unwaith, oherwydd o’n i’n gwybod bod angen ei nodi oherwydd bod cymaint wedi marw mor gyflym, a thrwy gydol y dydd roedden ni’n gweld ieir yn marw o’n blaenau.”

Fe wnaeth profion ar yr ieir gadarnhau achosion o H5N1. Roedd 40 o ieir wedi marw erbyn i swyddogion gael eu hanfon allan i ddifa’r 80 oedd ar ôl.

“Nid ieir yn unig oedden nhw i ni. Fe wnaethon ni achub nhw tua pedwar neu bum mis yn ôl. Dim ond cariad ni wedi’i roi iddyn nhw,” meddai.

Dywedodd Angela bod eu mesurau bioddiogelwch o safon uchel a’u bod yn credu mai aderyn gwyllt sâl oedd wedi heintio’r haid gan eu bod yn rhydd i grwydro.

Bydd angen i’w busnes aros ar gau am o leiaf dair wythnos nawr.

“Does gennym ni ddim incwm, dim o gwbl, dw i’n poeni am dalu am bethau fel bwyd yr alpaca, dw i’n poeni am golli’r tŷ oherwydd mae’n rhaid i ni gael nifer penodol o anifeiliaid ar y safle er mwyn i ni gael ein cymeradwyo ar gyfer cynllunio.”

Mae hi’n cynghori pobl eraill sydd wedi’u heffeithio gan ffliw adar i siarad am y mater.

“Siaradwch â phobl, siaradwch â’ch cymuned, oherwydd mae’n unig, mae’n frawychus. Rydw i wedi gofyn cymaint o gwestiynau, a does neb yn gwybod yr ateb, oherwydd nid yw’n digwydd yn aml iawn.”
