Seven men have been charged in relation to incidents of violent disorder in two south Wales towns.
Gwent Police officers were called to the incidents at Blackwood and Newbridge in Caerphilly county on Thursday afternoon.
The men, aged between 24 and 30, were are due to appear at Newport Magistrates’ Court on Saturday after being arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
An eighth man, who was also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, remains in hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing, said the force.
