Firefighters have been tackling a “well-developed” blaze at a former castle hotel near Falkirk.
Four of six fire appliances called to Airth Castle at about 01:00 remain at the scene.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said there were no reports of any casualties and there was no current threat to the local community.
The castle hotel, parts of which date back to the 14th Century, was a well-known wedding and function venue. It has been closed since 2023 after going into administration.
