Dywedodd Cymwysterau Cymru bod hwn yn “lwybr ‘nôl o ganlyniadau uwch yn ystod y pandemig”.

Yn 2020 a 2021 cafodd arholiadau eu canslo ac fe gafodd graddau eu pennu gan athrawon.

Pan gafodd arholiadau eu cynnal eto yn 2022, cafodd cynnwys rhai cyrsiau eu cwtogi, ac yn 2023 cafodd gwybodaeth am yr hyn allai godi mewn papurau arholiad ei roi o flaen llaw i ysgolion.

Doedd yna ddim mesurau ychwanegol yn 2024.

Ond dywedodd Cymwysterau Cymru, pe bai perfformiad mewn unrhyw bwnc yn llawer is na chyn y pandemig, byddai “rhwyd ddiogelwch” wrth osod ffiniau graddau.

“Dyma’r flwyddyn gynta’ i ni ddychwelyd i’r drefn asesu a gosod graddau arferol,” eglurodd Philip Blaker, Prif Weithredwr Cymwysterau Cymru.

Mae’n cydnabod bod y pandemig wedi amharu ar addysg plant sy’n sefyll arholiadau eleni.

Ond dywedodd ei bod yn bwysig i bobl ifanc, prifysgolion a chyflogwyr i’r system ddychwelyd i’r drefn.

“Mae wir yn bwysig bod gwerth yr un peth ar draws gwledydd Prydain i gyd fel bod gwerth Lefel A yng Nghymru’r un peth â gwerth Lefel A yng Ngogledd Iwerddon neu Loegr,” meddai.
