Dywedodd llefarydd ar ran Llafur Cymru: “Does gan Nigel Farage ddim cynlluniau ar gyfer dur – dim ond criw camera.

“Allwch chi ddim ailgychwyn ffwrnais chwyth gyda chynhadledd i’r wasg. Bydd pobl Cymru’n gweld trwy ei addewidion ffug.”

Mewn cyfweliad gyda GB News, ychwanegodd Eluned Morgan fod “unrhyw un sy’n deall unrhyw beth am ddur yn gwybod y byddai ailagor y ffwrneisi chwyth yn cymryd chwyldro, a symiau enfawr o arian, ar adeg pan fo gormodedd o ddur yn y byd.”

Ychwanegodd Heledd Fychan o Blaid Cymru fod Reform wedi dangos yn union yr hyn maen nhw’n ei gynnig i Gymru, sef “geiriau gwag a pholisïau disynnwyr”.

“Mae Farage wedi dewis mynd i gymuned sydd wedi cael ei tharo’n galed gan ddiffyg gweithredu Llywodraeth y DU, ac yn ceisio manteisio ar y golled yno drwy honni y byddai’n ailagor y ffwrneisi chwyth – rhywbeth y mae’r diwydiant wedi dweud sy’n amhosib.”

Yn ôl arweinydd y Democratiaid Rhyddfrydol yng Nghymru, Jane Dodds, mae gan “Nigel Farage wyneb yn dewis addo’r byd i Bort Talbot tra bod ei ffrind, Donald Trump yn dewis chwalu’r hyn sy’n weddill o’n diwydiant dur gyda thollau”.

“Fel ei arwyr Donald Trump a Liz Truss, byddai Farage yn dinistrio economi Cymru a gwasanaethau lleol gyda thoriadau treth sydd heb eu cyllido, a thorri nôl ar wasanaethau cyhoeddus.” meddai.

Dywedodd Ysgrifennydd Rhanbarthol Undeb GMB y byddai pobl Port Talbot yn gweld y gwir – sef “mwy o gelwyddau gan rywun sy’n ceisio cymryd mantais”.

“Roedd Nigel Farage yn hapus i weld British Steel yn mynd i’r wal, ac mae’n hapus i ddweud unrhyw beth o flaen y camera. Dydi o ddim yn poeni am y cymunedau dur na’r gweithwyr.”
