Three teenagers have died after a car left the road and hit a tree in West Yorkshire.
Two 19-year-old passengers and the 18-year-old driver died at the scene of the crash in Wakefield, West Yorkshire Police said.
Five men were travelling in the black Seat Ibiza car near the village of West Bretton at the time of the crash on Friday night.
One man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said, with another passenger sustaining injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The car was driving along Bramley Lane towards Wooley when it left the road at about 20:30 GMT.
Det Ch Insp James Entwistle, from the force, said: “This is a tragic incident which has resulted in the loss of three lives and a fourth person suffering critical injuries.
“Our thoughts go out to the families of those involved who we are working with to provide support.”
Police appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in contact.
