His first book, My Story in Red, is a very personal project that weaves the warmth and vibrancy of Nigerian culture with the landscape and spirit of Wales.
By using the colour red to represent love, courage, and transformation, the book looks at identity, nostalgia, and self-expression through symbolic elements like the gèlè (head covering) and the fìlà (cap).
My Story in Red celebrates the strength and beauty of Nigerian identity, and invites people to reflect on home, tradition, and belonging, says Taiye.

Mae ei lyfr cyntaf, My Story in Red, yn brosiect personol iawn sy’n plethu cynhesrwydd ac egni diwylliant Nigeria gyda thirwedd ac ysbryd Cymru.
Wrth ddefnyddio’r lliw coch i gynrychioli cariad, dewrder a thrawsnewid, mae’r llyfr yn edrych ar hunaniaeth, hiraeth a hunan-fynegiant drwy elfennau symbolaidd fel y gèlè (gorchudd pen) a’r fìlà (cap).
Mae My Story in Red yn dathlu cryfder a harddwch hunaniaeth Nigeria, ac yn gwahodd pobl i ystyried cartref, traddodiad a pherthyn, meddai Taiye.
