Brennan Johnson has given Wales an injury worry before Tuesday’s squad announcement for Euro 2024 qualifiers against Croatia and Latvia. <\/span><\/p>\n The forward, 21, suffered a groin problem in Nottingham Forest’s Premier League loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Forest boss Steve Cooper says they “don’t know how bad” Johnson’s injury is.<\/span><\/p>\n Wales go to Croatia on Saturday, 25 March and host Latvia three days later.<\/span><\/p>\n Forest’s Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey withdrew from the bench before kick-off in the <\/span>3-1 defeat by Spurs<\/span><\/a> because of a knee problem.<\/span><\/p>\n “Wayne felt his knee [was injured] so was unable to go on the bench,” said Cooper.<\/span><\/p>\n Swansea City’s Ollie Cooper was also withdrawn at half-time of the <\/span>3-1 defeat to Middlesbrough<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Manager Russell Martin said: “He wasn’t able to produce his best after he took a big whack.<\/span><\/p>\n “He felt he could go on but it just wasn’t worth risking. <\/span><\/p>\n “We’ve two really important games coming up and there’s the Wales squad announcement as well which we hope he’ll be in.”<\/span><\/p>\n Wales will go into their qualifiers without recent international retirees <\/span>Joe Allen<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Chris Gunter<\/span><\/a> as well as the <\/span>iconic Gareth Bale,<\/span><\/a> who has ended his playing days altogether.<\/span><\/p>\n However there was good news for Robert Page from France after Aaron Ramsey played his first game in three weeks following a hamstring injury.<\/span><\/p>\n
