Israel’s military campaign in Gaza has reached the Strip’s southernmost city – Rafah – where around 1.5 million Palestinians are sheltering.<\/p>\n

Rafah is now one vast refugee camp, populated by people who have fled from cities, refugee camps and villages further north.<\/p>\n

After two hostages were rescued by an Israeli raid, the city has seen intense aerial bombardment.<\/p>\n
