Police said a fight broke out in Wilford Street in the early hours of Sunday <\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Two people have been stabbed in a fight in Nottingham city centre.<\/p>\n

Nottinghamshire Police said it was called to Wilford Street shortly before 04:00 BST on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The force said several people were involved in a fight and the two people who were stabbed had been taken to hospital.<\/p>\n

Five men, aged between 24 and 40, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Det Insp Lisa Jones said: \u201cOfficers are carrying out an extensive and thorough investigation to determine what has happened.<\/p>\n

“We believe the fight broke out as people were leaving a private event at the I-Club.<\/p>\n

\u201cA cordon is in place while we investigate the incident.”<\/p>\n
