Three reigning Paralympic champions have been named in ParalympicsGB Para-canoe team for this summer’s Paris Games.<\/b><\/p>\n
Emma Wiggs, Charlotte Henshaw and Laura Sugar will attempt to defend their VL2, KL2 and KL3 titles respectively.<\/p>\n
Jeanette Chippington, who made her Paralympic debut in Para-swimming in Seoul 1988, will compete in her eighth Games after also being named.<\/p>\n
Jack Eyers and Ed Clifton will make their Paralympic debuts in Paris.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a life-long dream of mine,” Eyers said. “Making it to Paris and getting to call myself a Paralympian means everything to me. <\/p>\n
“I\u2019ve worked incredibly hard the last three years to earn my place on the team and I can\u2019t wait to get out to Paris and showcase what I can do on the biggest stage.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Para-canoe events will take place from 6-8 September.<\/p>\n
