Petrol bombs have been separately thrown at a house and another placed inside a car in Newry on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n
The Police Service of Northern Ireland said three men approached a white BMW car parked in Helen\u2019s Terrace shortly after 00:20 BST.<\/p>\n
One man smashed a window of the car and another man set alight an object and placed it into the car. <\/p>\n
The PSNI said the car was “completely burnt out” following the incident.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
One of the men made off towards Pigtail Avenue and the two other men headed towards Clanrye Avenue. <\/p>\n
Det Sgt Lewis said: \u201cTwo men then exited a property in the Clanrye Avenue area upon hearing the car window smashed and approached the two men.<\/p>\n
“It was reported that one of the men threw an unconfirmed fluid over one of the occupants, while the other man throws a petrol bomb at the front door of the property.”<\/p>\n
The occupants were not injured but they were both left badly shaken.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
