Police were called to Cadenhead Place on Sunday morning<\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

An Aberdeen block of flats was evacuated following the discovery of what police say were “potentially hazardous substances” in one of the properties. <\/p>\n

The emergency services were sent to Cadenhead Place, in the city’s Ashgrove area, shortly before 10:00 on Sunday. <\/p>\n

Police Scotland said the evacuation was taken as a precautionary measure, and that residents have since returned to their properties. <\/p>\n

Officers remained at the scene on Monday and inquiries are ongoing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n
