Car Chase Heroes<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\nFive supercars worth about \u00a3450,000 have been stolen from an airfield, according to a car company.<\/p>\n Car Chase Heroes, who hired Tibenham Airfield, close to Diss, in Norfolk, for driving experience days, said the “theft” had left it “shocked, saddened and upset”. <\/p>\n Its spokesman, Nik Coleman, said he believed a gold Audi R8, a yellow and black Mercedes AMG, a red Lamborghini Hurac\u00e1n, a white and blue VW Golf Club Sport and a white Porsche Cayman, were taken between 00:00 BST and 04:00 BST on Saturday. <\/p>\n He said people in the village heard the cars at about 04:00 BST. <\/p>\n Norfolk Police has been approached for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Mr Coleman, said the company had booked the airfield between Friday and Monday, but only Friday’s event went ahead. <\/p>\n “About 900 people have been left disappointed as we were expecting about 300 spectators a day,” he said.<\/p>\n The cancelled days “will be rearranged at a later date”, he added. <\/p>\n He believed thieves broke into the secure unit, got into where the keys were being held, broke into the key safe, and then drove the vehicles through Tibenham village. <\/p>\n “Local people heard them being taken away,” he told the BBC. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Mr Coleman said the Golf was wrapped in blue and white for Sale Sharks, rugby team.<\/p>\n “It’s a great shock for all the Car Chase Heroes crews as they were ready for a busy weekend, it’s left so many people tremendously disappointed,” he said. <\/p>\n “Luckily no one was hurt and there were no injuries, the cars are insured, we have about 60 more cars so we will be back. <\/p>\n “We’ve been left shocked, saddened and upset that criminals should spoil so many people’s enjoyment.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n\n
