No other vehicles were involved in the crash on the A83<\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

A man has died in a crash in Argyll and Bute on New Year’s Eve.<\/p>\n

The crash happened on the A83 at Whitehouse near Tarbert at about 19:30 on Tuesday. No other vehicles were involved.<\/p>\n

The 53-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.<\/p>\n

The A83 was closed at Whitehouse and road users were advised to avoid the area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “There is a local diversion in place via the B8001, a single track road only suitable for cars.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
