The mother of a five-year-old boy who died after he was hit by a car in County Laois at the weekend has described him as a “little angel”. <\/p>\n

The child has named locally as Aaron Hussain.<\/p>\n

He was struck by the vehicle at Kilminchy, Portlaoise<\/a>, at about 16:20 local time on Saturday. <\/p>\n

Aaron was taken to Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise in a serious condition but was later pronounced dead. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

His mother, Irina Novikova, confirmed his death on her Facebook page. <\/p>\n

“With deep sorrow, we share the heartbreaking loss of our little son,” she wrote. <\/p>\n

“Rest in peace our little angel.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
