{"id":51451,"date":"2025-03-25T12:11:46","date_gmt":"2025-03-25T12:11:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kede.com.br\/news\/lisa-neumann-wales-winger-extends-harlequins-contract\/"},"modified":"2025-03-25T12:11:48","modified_gmt":"2025-03-25T12:11:48","slug":"lisa-neumann-wales-winger-extends-harlequins-contract","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kede.com.br\/news\/lisa-neumann-wales-winger-extends-harlequins-contract\/","title":{"rendered":"Lisa Neumann: Wales winger extends Harlequins contract"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">Wales winger Lisa Neumann has extended her contract at Harlequins for the 2025-26 Premiership Women&#8217;s Rugby campaign. <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The 31-year-old has scored six tries in 22 appearances since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/rugby-union\/68243550\" class=\"ssrcss-k8mrr8-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\">moving to the London club just over a year ago.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Neumann has played 41 times for Wales and started their 24-21 Six Nations loss to Scotland in Edinburgh on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;Joining Quins last year was the best decision I could have made,&#8221; Neumann told the Harlequins website. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I&#8217;ve seen my confidence grow but most importantly, my enjoyment for the game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;To be able to continue at Harlequins makes me so happy and I can&#8217;t wait to go again next season.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Head coach Ross Chisholm added: &#8220;Lisa is a player with great work rate and a real energy in everything she does.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;She is a strong carrier in contact, brilliant defensively and really suits the style here at Quins. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;She&#8217;s a great character and a really positive influence on our environment.
