{"id":54121,"date":"2025-05-05T12:58:04","date_gmt":"2025-05-05T12:58:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kede.com.br\/news\/two-men-charged-over-e1-6m-drug-seizure\/"},"modified":"2025-05-05T12:58:06","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T12:58:06","slug":"two-men-charged-over-e1-6m-drug-seizure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kede.com.br\/news\/two-men-charged-over-e1-6m-drug-seizure\/","title":{"rendered":"Two men charged over \u20ac1.6m drug seizure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-component=\"text-block\">\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Two men have appeared before Dublin District Court charged in connection with a \u20ac1.6m (\u00a31.4m) drugs seizure on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Christian Munoz Sanchez, a 34-year-old Spanish national from Barcelona, and Oliver Etienne, a 44-year-old English national with an address in Barcelona, appeared before a special court sitting on Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">They were arrested after 21 packages of drugs were found after a vehicle was searched in Coolock.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Both men were charged with possession of drugs and possession of drugs for the purpose of sale or supply.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-component=\"text-block\">\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Mr Sanchez was arrested in Coolock and Mr Etienne was arrested at Liffey Terrace in Lucan on Friday, the court heard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">The two men had arrived in the Republic of Ireland on 24 April from Cherbourg, RT\u00c9 reports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Both were remanded in custody to Cloverhill Prison.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Mr Etienne is due to appear in court on Wednesday via video-link.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Mr Sanchez is due to appear in court on Friday via video-link.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/ce92kr3v723o\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two men have appeared before Dublin District Court charged in connection with a \u20ac1.6m (\u00a31.4m) drugs seizure on Friday.
