{"id":57421,"date":"2025-06-25T12:33:48","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T12:33:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kede.com.br\/news\/three-network-phone-calls-down-but-data-still-working\/"},"modified":"2025-06-25T12:33:50","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T12:33:50","slug":"three-network-phone-calls-down-but-data-still-working","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kede.com.br\/news\/three-network-phone-calls-down-but-data-still-working\/","title":{"rendered":"Three network phone calls down but data still working"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-component=\"text-block\">\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">The mobile operator Three has confirmed some users are currently unable to make phone calls.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">In a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ThreeUK\/status\/1937791900544614772\" class=\"sc-f9178328-0 bGFWdi\" rel=\"noopener\">post on X<\/a>, the network said there was &#8220;an issue affecting voice services&#8221; but did not say how many<b id=\"\" class=\"sc-d16436d-0 jpoiOL\"> <\/b>of its 11 million customers are affected. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Outage website DownDetector reported a spike in issues at 09:30 BST on Wednesday, with over 9,000 reports made by users.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Data services such as 4G and 5G are working as normal, according to Three.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-component=\"text-block\">\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">The company recently completed a merger with Vodafone to create the UK&#8217;s largest phone network with around 27 million customers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Vodafone services are running as normal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">However, other phone companies which piggyback off Three&#8217;s network are affected. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">ID Mobile posted on its service status page: &#8220;Please bear with us, our technical teams are working hard with our network partner Three UK to fix this issue and full service will be restored as soon as possible.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Smarty said it was &#8220;aware of an issue affecting voice services&#8221; and was working to fix it. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Some customers have posted on social media saying they have been unable to return missed calls from the hospital, or to call a car breakdown service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Others also said on Wednesday morning they did not have access to data services &#8211; though in a statement, Three has said data is &#8220;working normally&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">In January, Three announced an investigation into a small number of users not being able to call 999 during a network outage.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/cdxlqeyw95no\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The mobile operator Three has confirmed some users are currently unable to make phone calls.
