Cannabis worth an estimated \u00a31.6m has been seized during a police raid on a property in Falkirk.<\/p>\n

Officers acting on intelligence carried out a search on Abbots Road at about 15:00 on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Police Scotland said a cannabis cultivation of 2,500 plants was discovered. <\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the force said an investigation was under way to trace those involved.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Det Insp John Currie said the raid underlined the “ongoing commitment” to tackling serious organised crime.<\/p>\n

He added: “We will continue to act on intelligence and use all available resources at our disposal to disrupt the production and supply of controlled drugs.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
