Four appliances were sent to the scene in Gardenstown<\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

A woman is missing and a man has been taken to hospital after a serious blaze at a house in Aberdeenshire.<\/p>\n

Fire crews were called to the property in the Seatown area of Gardenstown just before 05:00.<\/p>\n

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said four appliances were called out to tackle the incident.<\/p>\n

Police said one woman, who was in the house, is missing and a man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Emergency services remain at the scene and officers say inquiries are ongoing.<\/p>\n

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 04:57 to attend an incident near Harbour Road, Gardenstown, Aberdeenshire.<\/p>\n

“We dispatched two ambulances and two special operations response teams to the scene. We transported one patient to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
