Durham have signed former Warwickshire captain Will Rhodes on a three-year contract to start next summer.
It was announced in July that the 29-year-old all-rounder, who led Warwickshire to the County Championship title in 2021, would leave Edgbaston at the end of the season.
He has scored almost 8,500 runs and taken 168 wickets in all formats of the game since his career began with Yorkshire in 2013.
“A player of his quality, character, and experience does not become available all that often, so we are obviously delighted to have secured Will,” said Durham director of cricket Marcus North.
