England fast bowler Brydon Carse is set to make his first appearance of the summer when he returns for Durham.

Carse has been included in their squad for the County Championship match at home to leaders Nottinghamshire on Friday.

The 29-year-old has not played since injuring his toe while playing in the Champions Trophy in February.

He has not been selected for England’s one-off Test against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge which starts next Thursday but will hope to be ready for the five-match series against India, beginning next month.
