Frazer Clarke and Jeamie TKV will fight for the British heavyweight title on 25 October in Derby, live on BBC Two and iPlayer.
The headline bout at the Vaillant Arena is the first event in a new partnership between BBC Sport and promoter Boxxer.
Olympic bronze medallist Clarke has won nine pro bouts, with one draw and one defeat. TKV has won eight of his 10 fights.
“It’s amazing to be headlining on the BBC. It is such a big platform,” Clarke said.
“There are going to be so many eyes on this fight, and I can’t wait to get out there and put on a show.”
The event will be live between 20:00 and 22:00 BST on BBC Two and the undercard will be shown on BBC iPlayer.
Clarke, from Burton upon Trent, came close to the British crown in March 2024 when he drew with Fabio Wardley.
The 33-year-old was then knocked out in the first round of their rematch seven months later.
“I’m going to be ice cold in there. I’ve travelled the world as an amateur, I’ve had my ups and downs as a pro, and I’ve learned from all of it,” he added, insisting that TKV “won’t hear the final bell”.
