Crystal Palace are working on a deal to sign Real Betis defender Chadi Riad worth over £10m plus add-ons.
The 20-year-old joined Betis from Barcelona last summer and made 30 appearances in 2023-24.
Riad has won two caps for Morocco, with the centre-back most recently featuring in a goalless draw against Mauritania in March.
Palace and England defender Marc Guehi is of interest to a number of teams and has been linked to Manchester United as he enters the final two years of his contract this summer.
Guehi is also included in Gareth Southgate’s provisional squad for Euro 2024.
The Eagles finished the season in excellent form, winning six of their final seven games.
Palace finished in 10th in the Premier League with a club record 49 points.
