Stephen Curry hit a late three-pointer to give the Golden State Warriors a 113-112 win over the Phoenix Suns.
Curry made nine three-pointers in his 30-point total but saved the best for last.
The 35-year-old four-time champion and two-time NBA Most Valuable Player caught Brandin Podziemski’s inbound pass and unleashed his shot with seven-tenths of a second left.
It secured Golden State their sixth victory in seven games.
Devin Booker, who put Phoenix 112-110 up with 35.6 seconds left, scored 32 points to lead the Suns while Kevin Durant added 24, but on the Suns’ last-gasp inbounds play he could not get a shot away.
Elsewhere the Dallas Mavericks, thanks to 32 points from Luka Doncic and 25 from Kyrie Irving, romped past the Oklahoma City Thunder 146-111 for a fourth straight victory to match their longest winning streak of the season.
Daniel Gafford added 19 points and nine rebounds as he made his Mavs debut along with PJ Washington after both players signed on the trade deadline.
And the Los Angeles Clippers moved into second place in the Western Conference with a hard-fought 112-106 victory over the Detroit Pistons, the league’s worst side.
Paul George scored 15 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter as the Clippers battled back from a 13-point deficit early in the third quarter, while Kawhi Leonard added 24.
