Zac Jackson, The Athletic’s Cleveland Browns writer, says it is unclear where headline-grabbing quarterback Shedeur Sanders will end up in the depth chart come the start of the NFL season.

The 23-year-old quarterback was the initial favourite to be the first overall pick in this year’s draft but slid to the fifth round, where he was taken 144th overall by Cleveland.

Sanders, who made his debut in pre-season Friday, is now in a four-way fight to be the Browns’ starting quarterback this season, along with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel.
