I felt good. I kept pushing,&#8221; Vollering said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-5\"><span data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-5.0\">&#8220;I was nervous and the whole team was behind me and told me I could do it.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-6\"><span data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-6.0\">Vollering had been seventh heading into the stage from Lannemezan to Tourmalet Bagneres-de-Bigorre &#8211; a minute behind previous race leader and Worx team-mate Lotte Kopecky and 12 seconds drift of defending champion Annemiek van Vleuten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-7\"><span data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-7.0\">The trio were part the group that pulled clear on the first of two tough climbs before Niewiadoma broke away in the final foggy 17km ascent of the Tourmalet. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-8\"><span data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-8.0\">Vollering and compatriot Van Vleuten initially declined to chase the leader in a tense stand-off before the former attacked on the approach to the skiing village of La Mongie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-9\"><span data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-9.0\">Vollering reeled in Niewiadoma with six kilometres remaining and summoned enough energy to get herself over the line.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"story-body__crosshead\" data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$crosshead-10\">Stage seven results<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-11\"><span data-reactid=\".1zbn81h7h9o.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-11.0\">1.
