Great Britain are out of the EuroBasket after their fourth defeat – a 94-62 loss to Estonia – at the tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n Missing the injured Ovie Soko, GB fell behind early to Estonia and never recovered.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n The result means that even a win over hosts Italy in their final game- to avoid losing all five of their games – will not keep GB in the tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n Hosts Italy beat 81-76 win against Croatia in the final game of the evening in Milan.<\/span><\/p>\n That meant that they, Greece, Croatia and Ukraine have qualified for the knockout stages in Berlin over the next two weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n With Estonia and GB without a win and looking at an outside chance of sneaking into the second phase, the game only briefly looked like a contest once Estonia established their shooting game.<\/span><\/p>\n The Baltic team’s aggressive start cost them early fouls but also brought them easy baskets and open shots as they posted a 36-21 lead after 13 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n “Estonia is a quality team – they’ve taken every team down to the wire so far,” said GB head coach Nate Reinking. “We didn’t have it today and we cracked again.”<\/span><\/p>\n That lead grew to 21 points within a minute and a half of the third period starting and later grew beyond 30 points as a dispirited GB went scoreless for the first six and a half minutes of the final quarter as they suffered their worst-ever EuroBasket finals defeat.<\/span><\/p>\n Myles Hesson again top-scored for the team with 14 points and Carl Wheatle and Patrick Whelan both added 12.<\/span><\/p>\n Standings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
