England’s Bronte Law carded a final-round 64 to take victory at the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco.<\/b><\/p>\n
The 28-year-old had an eagle, nine birdies and two bogeys in the third round to finish the event on 13 under.<\/p>\n
Three of Law’s birdies came on the 10th, 11th and 12th holes before the “turning point” of an eagle at 14.<\/p>\n
She ended up winning by three shots after Pauline Roussin-Bouchard of France had bogeys on the last two holes to drop to 10 under.<\/p>\n
“This win represents all the hard work that I did in the off season,” said Law.<\/p>\n
“I really struggled last year and have done a lot of work with my mental coach.<\/p>\n
“This proves that when I put the hard work in and when I believe in myself that I can still compete at the very top of my game.”<\/p>\n
Mexico’s Maria Fassi led after the first two days but finished on nine under in a tie for third after a final round of three-over-par 76.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
