Russell scored the winning points with 5.9 seconds remaining for the Lakers, who were missing the injured LeBron James.<\/p>\n
The 28-year-old also dished out nine assists and equalled a career-high nine three-pointers.<\/p>\n
Giannis Antetokounmpo made his eighth triple-double of the season but the Bucks fell to a second loss in a row.<\/p>\n
The Greek forward finished with 34 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists on Friday.<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, centre Rudy Gobert admitted an “immature reaction” had “cost my team the game” as the Minnesota Timberwolves lost 113-104 in overtime to the Cleveland Cavaliers.<\/p>\n
The Frenchman was ejected for his sixth foul of the game with the Timberwolves leading and just 27 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n
