Scotland beat the United Arab Emirates by nine runs to level their T20 series at 1-1 and force a decider on Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Scots lost the toss in Dubai and batted first, reaching 121-8 as Matthew Cross top-scored with 35 from 38 balls.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Junaid Siddique dismissed four Scotland batters before Alishan Sharafu matched Cross’ 35 in UAE’s innings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jack Jarvis took three wickets as Scotland limited UAE to 112-9, the hosts having been in trouble early on at 36 for five after nine overs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scotland debutant James Dickinson took another of the wickets and told Cricket Scotland: “It’s a great win for the team, bouncing back after yesterday – we just wanted to go out and enjoy the game and take the series into the final game.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It was amazing to make my debut, there were a few nerves, which I think is pretty normal, but I really enjoyed being out there and it’s a great group to be involved with.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We’ve shown some good signs in these first two games, so hopefully now we can put a complete performance together, dominate the final game and take the series.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
