France’s all-time leading goalscorer Olivier Giroud will leave AC Milan at the end of the season to move to Major League Soccer.<\/b><\/p>\n

The 37-year-old striker lifted the Serie A title in 2021-22 and has scored 48 goals and made 20 assists in 130 appearances for the Italian club.<\/p>\n

It is expected that he will join his international team-mate Hugo Lloris at Los Angeles FC.<\/p>\n

“I will be playing my final two matches with Milan and will continue my career in the MLS,” Giroud said.<\/p>\n

“I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved at Milan in the last three years. My time with Milan might be finishing this year but the club will remain in my heart.”<\/p>\n

Giroud joined Milan in 2021 after leaving Chelsea, having won the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup during four seasons in west London.<\/p>\n

Previously, he spent six years at Arsenal, winning three FA Cups and scoring 105 goals in 253 games.<\/p>\n

Giroud has netted 57 goals in 131 matches for France – six more than second-highest scorer Thierry Henry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
