England’s Aaron Rai has a share of the lead heading into the final round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit.<\/p>\n
Rai shot a four-under-par 68 on Saturday to take his score to 17 under for the weekend.<\/p>\n
The 29-year-old, who has two career wins on the DP World Tour, is tied with Akshay Bhatia at the top of the leaderboard after the American also shot a 68 in the third round.<\/p>\n
But the pair’s lead at the top of the leaderboard was cut to one shot, as Cameron Davis and Cameron Young shot five under and six under respectively to occupy joint third place on 16 under.<\/p>\n
“There’s so many people in this golf tournament, it\u2019s not just us two,” said Bhatia.<\/p>\n
“We didn\u2019t separate ourselves.”<\/p>\n
America’s Sam Stevens and South Africa’s Erik van Rooyen are a shot further back, while amateur Luke Clanton is in the hunt after carding a seven-under-par 65. <\/p>\n
Just three strokes separate the top nine players heading into the final round.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
