BBC Sport and ITV have agreed a deal to broadcast next year’s Women’s European Championship. <\/b><\/p>\n

Every match of the tournament, which begins 2 July, will be shown in the UK on either the BBC or ITV, with the final on 27 July available on both channels. <\/p>\n

Alongside live TV coverage and highlights across the BBC and iPlayer, radio commentary will also be available on BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 Sports Extra.<\/p>\n

England head to Switzerland as defending champions after securing qualification for Euro 2025 with a 0-0 draw against Sweden<\/a> in July. <\/p>\n

The Lionesses’ win over Germany<\/a> in the final of Euro 2022 was watched by more than 17m viewers on BBC One.<\/p>\n

Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales will seek to qualify via the play-offs, which resume in October.<\/p>\n

Alex Kay-Jelski, director of BBC Sport, said the BBC was “committed to bringing the nation together for the biggest sporting moments”.<\/p>\n

He added: “We’re excited that we can bring another major tournament to audiences next summer across the BBC.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, ITV director of sport Niall Sloane said the broadcaster was aiming to build on the success of its Women’s World Cup coverage last year. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
