Great Britain’s Matthew Hudson-Smith will be seeking revenge against Quincy Hall as they renew their rivalry in the Diamond League in Lausanne on Thursday.<\/b><\/p>\n
Hall, 26, pipped Hudson-Smith to gold in the men’s 400m at the Paris Olympics by four-hundredths of a second. <\/a><\/p>\n Hudson-Smith, who was favourite for gold, improved his European record to 43.44 seconds but Hall ran a personal best of 43.40 to take victory. <\/p>\n In the men’s 200m, Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo will be looking to take his sensational Paris form with him to Switzerland as he takes on American pair Erriyon Knighton and Fred Kerley again. <\/p>\n Tebogo, 21, was the surprise winner of the 200m final in Paris<\/a> as he clocked an African record of 19.46 seconds to become Botswana’s first Olympic champion. <\/p>\n British duo Daryll Neita and Dina Asher-Smith will compete in the women’s 100m, while Georgia Bell takes part in the 800m after winning bronze in the 1500m in Paris.<\/p>\n Neita and Asher-Smith will also compete in the 100m in the Silesia Diamond League on Sunday.<\/p>\n Sweden’s Armand Duplantis, fresh from his pole vault gold in Paris<\/a>, will be looking to go even higher in Poland after setting a new world record of 6.25m at Stade de France. <\/p>\n The Lausanne Diamond League will be shown live on BBC Two at 19:00 BST on Thursday, 22 August, while the Silesia Diamond League will be shown on BBC Two at 15:00 on Sunday, 25 August. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
