Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has agreed to join RC Strasbourg on a season-long loan deal. <\/b><\/p>\n
The 24-year-old Serb played 31 times under Mauricio Pochettino last season but will move on after Chelsea signed Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal as his replacement last month. <\/p>\n
Petrovic also penned a new contract on improved terms at Stamford Bridge before his move to the Strasbourg, the club owned by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital’s parent company BlueCo. <\/p>\n
The Blues, who signed Petrovic<\/a> from New England Revolution for \u00a314m last summer, believe the move is in the interest of his long-term development. <\/p>\n The two-time Serbia international will help strengthen undefeated Strasbourg, now led by English manager Liam Rosenior, in France’s top flight. <\/p>\n Petrovic will be the third Chelsea player to join the club on loan, joining American defender Caleb Wiley and Brazil international Andrey Santos. <\/p>\n Chelsea also sold winger Diego Moreira to the Ligue 1 club earlier this month.<\/p>\n On Thursday, Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga joined Bournemouth<\/a> on a season-long loan deal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
