Brighton have agreed a deal worth \u00a310m to sign Sunderland winger Tom Watson this summer.<\/b><\/p>\n
The 18-year-old has scored two goals in 17 appearances for the Black Cats since making his senior debut in April 2023.<\/p>\n
Watson has agreed a four-year deal with the Premier League side, starting from when the summer transfer window opens until June 2029.<\/p>\n
The teenager will remain with Sunderland, who are in contention for the Championship play-offs, for the rest of this season.<\/p>\n
“Tommy is an exciting young talent who we have been tracking for a significant period of time,” said Brighton technical director David Weir.<\/p>\n
“He’s had an excellent breakthrough season with Sunderland, and we are looking forward to him joining us in the summer.<\/p>\n
“However, for now his full focus is on helping them finish their season as strongly as possible.”<\/p>\n
Watson has represented England at both under-17 and under-18 level.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
