Saracens’ uncapped second row Hugh Tizard and Sale prop Bevan Rodd are in a 26-player England squad to prepare to face South Africa on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Tizard faces strong competition for a spot in the 23-man matchday squad with Maro Itoje, Jonny Hill, David Ribbans and Alex Coles all options at lock.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The 22-year-old has played in eight Premiership games for table-toppers Saracens this season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rodd won the most recent of two caps in last autumn’s win over the Springboks. <\/span><\/p>\n

Flanker Jack Willis, who came on for the final 13 minutes of England’s <\/span>dramatic draw with New Zealand<\/span><\/a> last weekend, has been left out.<\/span><\/p>\n

Captain Owen Farrell is included after receiving treatment on an apparent leg problem during the match.<\/span><\/p>\n

Head coach Eddie Jones will announce his squad for the match on Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both England and South Africa will attempt to sign off on their autumn series on a high, with only wins against Japan and Italy respectively to show for their efforts so far.<\/span><\/p>\n

Back-row forward Sam Simmonds says Saturday’s game feels like something of a must-win for both sides.<\/span><\/p>\n

“For us – and I am sure the Boks are the same – we want to win every game we go into,” he told BBC Radio 5 Live.<\/span><\/p>\n

“And I guess [there is] a little bit of pressure when you don’t win game after game after game. It does come with that.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We know how we played the last 10 minutes [against New Zealand] and that is how we want to play the whole game.”<\/span><\/p>\n
