In July, Chavez Jr was booed by fans after he called out Paul following a laboured points win over ex-MMA fighter Uriah Hall. <\/p>\n
“I will show what I can do now that everything is in the right place in my life – mentally and physically,” said Chavez Jr.<\/p>\n
“I feel rejuvenated and 10 years younger.”<\/p>\n
The cruiserweight bout will be over 10, three-minute rounds and the boxers will wear standard 10oz gloves.<\/p>\n
Paul wore bigger gloves and contested shorter rounds against Tyson, given the former world champion’s age.<\/p>\n
WBA and WBO cruiserweight world champion Gilberto Ramirez will defend his title against Cuban Yuniel Dorticos in the co-main event of Paul-Chavez. <\/p>\n
The event will be promoted by Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, which he co-owns with businessman Nakisa Bidarian, and Oscar de la Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
