America’s Justin Thomas has a two shot-lead over Kim Si-woo after the second round of the RBC Heritage.<\/p>\n

Thomas shot a course-record 10-under-par 61<\/a> in his opening round at the Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old followed it up with a two-under round of 69, featuring four birdies and two bogeys, to finish a couple of strokes ahead of South Korea’s Kim.<\/p>\n

Kim fired the round of the day, a seven-under 64, to claim a share of second place at 10 under with Russell Henley (68).<\/p>\n

Thomas is seeking his first victory since winning his second major at the 2022 US PGA Championship.<\/p>\n

England’s Tommy Fleetwood kept himself in contention with 66 in a round that saw an errant tee shot on the 10th end up in the arms of a spectator.<\/p>\n

“I’m just trying to help you out,” laughed the man, who was cradling the ball as Fleetwood approached him. “Can you just take a walk up to the hole,” joked the Englishman, who was given a free drop.<\/p>\n

Fleetwood shares fourth with Andrew Novak on nine under, while defending champion Scottie Scheffler made 70 and is a further shot back at eight under.<\/p>\n

Major winners Collin Morikawa (66), Brian Harman (69) and Wyndham Clark (70) are part of a five-way tie at seven under.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
