Unbeaten Belfast fighter Caoimhin Agyarko stepped in at short notice to secure a majority decision win over England’s Ryan Kelly in Sheffield. <\/b><\/p>\n

Less than two weeks after taking the bout following Ishmael Davis’ withdrawal, Agyarko prevailed to improve his professional record to 17-0. <\/p>\n

Despite being cut above his left eye in the fifth round, Agyarko battled his way to a hard-fought victory with the judges scoring the 10-round light-middleweight contest 95-95, 97-94 and 96-94 in the 28-year-old’s favour. <\/p>\n

The fight took place on the undercard of Dalton Smith’s dominant super-lightweight win over Mathieu Germain. <\/p>\n

Agyarko, who made his professional debut in 2018, fought just once in 2024, beating Bahadur Karami in Belfast. <\/p>\n

But after returning to the ring with victory over Harley Collison in March, outlasting Kelly represents another step in the right direction in Agyarko’s bid to earn a world title shot. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
