In a video posted on social media, Doucoure said: “Hi\u00a0Evertonians\u00a0– just wanted to share this message with you that I’m going to leave the football club at the end of the season. <\/p>\n
“After\u00a0five\u00a0wonderful\u00a0years,\u00a0my\u00a0time\u00a0at\u00a0Everton came\u00a0to\u00a0an\u00a0end.<\/p>\n
“Everton\u00a0means\u00a0a\u00a0lot\u00a0for\u00a0me.\u00a0Obviously\u00a0the\u00a0past\u00a0five\u00a0years\u00a0it’s\u00a0been\u00a0hard\u00a0but I will always remember my time as a dream for me, to play for Everton Football Club. <\/p>\n
“Obviously\u00a0I’m\u00a0sad\u00a0to\u00a0leave\u00a0the\u00a0club\u00a0but\u00a0I\u00a0think\u00a0the\u00a0time\u00a0has\u00a0come\u00a0for\u00a0a\u00a0new chapter for me and the club as well and I will always be grateful for what the club did for me.<\/p>\n

The midfielder looked emotional as he was substituted in the second half of Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Southampton<\/a> – Everton’s final game at their Goodison Park home.<\/p>\n The Toffees will travel to Newcastle for their last match of the campaign this Sunday (16:00 BST) before relocating to their new Hill Dickinson Stadium<\/a> at Bramley-Moore Dock. <\/p>\n Doucoure added: “I gave everything to win the most games I could and I will just miss the place, and I wish them all the best in the new stadium.<\/p>\n “Everton\u00a0will\u00a0always\u00a0be\u00a0part\u00a0of\u00a0my\u00a0life\u00a0now.\u00a0I\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0forever\u00a0a\u00a0Blue.\u00a0I\u00a0will always support Everton and I hope they’re going to have a bright future.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
