Carnival dancing, world-class goals, party tricks in abundance and thousands in yellow enjoying themselves – this was Brazil at their magical best.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are used to seeing them in the knockout stages of World Cups but this was a treat – one of this tournament’s most impressive performances that left those watching at Stadium 974 in Qatar dancing out of the ground.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It was street football from Rio de Janeiro brought straight to the Middle East – a legendary number 10 playing tricks, a juggling Richarlison scoring worldies – again – and a constant carnival sound coming from the thousands of supporters clad in yellow. <\/span><\/p>\n

“Devastating. Brazil are saying to the rest of the teams in the tournament: ‘We’re here,'” former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton told BBC Radio 5 Live.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brazil manager Tite joined in with the dancing as his players huddled around him in the technical area<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Selecao are definitely here.<\/span><\/p>\n

Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr and returning superstar Neymar both had their moments in the spotlight, while Richarlison kept up his quest to score the goal – or goals – of the tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n

There were legends all around before kick-off as Ronaldinho’s name was plastered across the backs of shirts and tributes to the great Pele, <\/span>currently in hospital<\/span><\/a>, were displayed in the stands.<\/span><\/p>\n

And the return of Brazil’s current star had fans chanting “Neymar, Neymar, Neymar” as he approached the penalty spot, ready to double their lead.<\/span><\/p>\n

An eruption of noise, a dancing demonstration by manager Tite and a hug for injured defender Alex Telles by Neymar followed. <\/span>Brazil<\/span><\/a> were 2-0 up and there was more to come.<\/span><\/p>\n

By half-time, as Tite’s side led 4-0, social media had been sent into meltdown, Brazilians were partying on the sand at Copacabana beach and the players were shaking their hips as they danced down the tunnel.<\/span><\/p>\n

The only people seemingly not enjoying it were the South Koreans.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Let’s be honest, this is absolutely Seoul destroying,” tweeted BBC Sport reader Olly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ouch.<\/span><\/p>\n

And the winner is…<\/h3>\n

The dazzling feet of Richarlison were also on display. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Tottenham striker was already in a league of his own when it came to the goal of the tournament, after <\/span>netting a stunning volley<\/span><\/a> in the win over Serbia.<\/span><\/p>\n

But there is no party without a Richarlison worldie at this World Cup.<\/span><\/p>\n

So he juggled the ball on his head three times, flicked it on to a team-mate, ran on to a one-two in the box and coolly slotted home.<\/span><\/p>\n

Haven’t we seen that <\/span>showboating before in Nottingham<\/span><\/a>?<\/span><\/p>\n

But that was the goal of the tournament officially in the bag. <\/span><\/p>\n

But hang on… South Korea’s Paik Seung-ho wasn’t going to let Brazil have all of the fun when he smashed in 30-yard screamer.<\/span><\/p>\n

A consolation for South Korea – but at least they had their moment on a night that will be remembered for football magic in Doha.<\/span><\/p>\n

South Korea wanted more moments too, but Brazil goalkeeper Alisson pulled off several brilliant saves and was then substituted in the 80th minute to a standing ovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimares climbed on a team-mate’s shoulders to celebrate after full-time<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

When the full-time whistle went, Brazil’s players headed straight to their supporters behind the goal.<\/span><\/p>\n

More dancing, more tambourine shaking and Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes had even climbed on a team-mate’s shoulders.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Brazil couldn’t please everyone. Speaking on ITV, former Republic of Ireland and Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane said: “I’ve never seen so much dancing. I can’t believe what I’m watching. It’s like watching Strictly [Come Dancing].<\/span><\/p>\n

“I don’t like this. People say it’s their culture, but I think that’s really disrespecting the opposition. I don’t mind the first time and that jig, but then the manager was getting involved. I’m not happy with it.”<\/span><\/p>\n

No beach party for Keane then…<\/span><\/p>\n

Tite said: “There’s no interpretation other than happiness at the goal, happiness for the team, happiness for the performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

“There was no disrespect for the opposition nor towards (South Korea coach) Paulo Bento, for whom I have a lot of respect.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Tite said dancing was also his way of bonding with his players. “They are very young and I try to adapt a bit to their language, and part of their language is dancing,” he said.<\/span><\/p>\n
