Campbell Hatton will fight on the undercard of what would have been an event headlined by his late father, Ricky, on 11 April in Dubai.<\/b><\/p>\n
The two-weight world champion died at the age of 46<\/a> last September.<\/p>\n Ricky was scheduled to fight Eisa Al Dah<\/a> last year in what was being billed as his first professional bout since retiring in 2012.<\/p>\n His son Campbell will fight for the first time since retiring from boxing in 2024 after successive defeats.<\/p>\n “Looking forward to getting back in the ring in memory of my dad out in Dubai,” Campbell said on Instagram.<\/p>\n The niece and nephew of Ricky, Jack and Lola Hatton, will also compete at the event.<\/p>\n Both teenagers are in the early stages of their amateur careers.<\/p>\n Campbell, 25, initially followed in his father’s footsteps into professional boxing but after 14 wins and two losses, decided to step away from the sport.<\/p>\n
