Prop Max Lahiff has signed a new contract with Bristol Bears to stay at the club beyond this campaign.<\/b><\/p>\n
Lahiff has played more than 120 games for Bristol and the extended deal will take him into an eighth season at the club. <\/p>\n
The 36-year-old, who can play on both sides of the scrum, has played 10 games this season after missing the first part of the campaign with an ankle injury.<\/p>\n
Director of rugby Pat Lam said Lahiff’s versatility is an “enormous asset”. <\/p>\n
“His experience plays a vital role in the development of our younger front-row players,” Lam said.<\/p>\n
“What I love most about Max is his growth mindset – both as a player and as a person. The depth of his understanding of the game, the way he approaches it and the evolution of his skillset are markedly different from when he first arrived eight years ago.”<\/p>\n
Lahiff follows fellow prop Jake Woolmore<\/a> and academy prospects Sam Worsley and Aidan Boshoff<\/a> in both confirming new contracts with the Bears in recent days.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
