{"id":40076,"date":"2026-03-16T03:59:11","date_gmt":"2026-03-16T03:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kede.com.br\/sport\/jonas-vingegaard-claims-maiden-paris-nice-title\/"},"modified":"2026-03-16T03:59:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T03:59:13","slug":"jonas-vingegaard-claims-maiden-paris-nice-title","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kede.com.br\/sport\/jonas-vingegaard-claims-maiden-paris-nice-title\/","title":{"rendered":"Jonas Vingegaard claims maiden Paris-Nice title"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">Two-time Tour de France champion Jonas Vingegaard claimed his first Paris-Nice title after finishing second in Sunday&#8217;s finale.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Vingegaard was pipped to the line on stage eight by Frenchman Lenny Martinez but had already done enough to stay clear in the general classification.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Colombia&#8217;s Harold Tejada &#8211; winner of Friday&#8217;s sixth stage &#8211; crossed the line third in a small group seven seconds behind the winner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Vingegaard, 29, finished four minutes and 23 seconds clear of Daniel Martinez to seal the title after the Colombian slipped adrift following a crash with 50km remaining.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Victory sets the Dane on a positive path before his tilt at a Giro d&#8217;Italia and Tour de France double in May and July respectively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">After Saturday&#8217;s stage had to be shortened because of heavy snow on the summit finish, conditions were much better for Sunday&#8217;s 145km stage, which started and ended in Nice on the Allianz Riviera.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Vingegaard led Martinez to break away from the peloton for the final climb but the Frenchman found an extra gear to come out on top in the sprint.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/cycling\/articles\/cy576z32wkwo?at_medium=RSS&#038;at_campaign=rss\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two-time Tour de France champion Jonas Vingegaard claimed his first Paris-Nice title after finishing second in Sunday&#8217;s finale.
