{"id":41450,"date":"2026-04-21T04:51:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T04:51:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kede.com.br\/sport\/filip-nowacki-relishes-his-first-senior-british-swimming-title\/"},"modified":"2026-04-21T04:51:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T04:51:20","slug":"filip-nowacki-relishes-his-first-senior-british-swimming-title","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kede.com.br\/sport\/filip-nowacki-relishes-his-first-senior-british-swimming-title\/","title":{"rendered":"Filip Nowacki relishes his first senior British swimming title"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">Filip Nowacki says winning his first British senior title is &#8220;absolutely surreal&#8221;.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The 18-year-old from Jersey <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/swimming\/articles\/clyjwpe72z7o\" class=\"ssrcss-18834jl-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\">won the 200m breaststroke<\/a> at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships in London.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/swimming\/articles\/cy8j29e4d22o\" class=\"ssrcss-18834jl-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\">World Junior champion<\/a> added to the silver medals he won after coming second behind former Olympic champion Adam Peaty over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/swimming\/articles\/cj6006w069wo\" class=\"ssrcss-18834jl-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\">50m<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/swimming\/articles\/c2evvjnwwzzo\" class=\"ssrcss-18834jl-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\">100m<\/a> earlier in the Championships. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">His times also ensured he qualified to represent Great Britain in all three breaststroke distances at the European Championships in Paris.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I think it&#8217;s good that the hard work is slowly starting to pay off, and it was great to win,&#8221; he told BBC Radio Jersey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I&#8217;ve had a couple of PBs this week and a couple that were just slightly off.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;But having said that, I&#8217;m miles ahead of where I was last year this time in the season, so I&#8217;m very happy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/swimming\/articles\/cn4vnv2gzwjo?at_medium=RSS&#038;at_campaign=rss\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Filip Nowacki says winning his first British senior title is &#8220;absolutely surreal&#8221;.
