Charlton Athletic have signed Kenya international midfielder Timothy Ouma from Slavia Prague on a season-long loan deal.<\/b><\/p>\n
The agreement includes an option to sign the 22-year-old on a permanent deal.<\/p>\n
Manager Nathan Jones told Charlton’s official website, external<\/span><\/a>: “Timothy is a player that we’ve monitored for a long, long time, and he comes with a real good pedigree. <\/p>\n “He’s an athletic, technical midfield player who has had some good experience, and he’ll add real quality to our midfield.”<\/p>\n Ouma began his career in his native Kenya with Nairobi City Stars before joining Swedish top-flight side IF Elfsborg in the summer of 2022.<\/p>\n After three seasons in Sweden, which included 13 Europa League appearances, he joined Slavia Prague and spent last season on loan in Poland with Lech Poznan, lifting the league title.<\/p>\n Ouma is the Addicks’ seventh signing of the summer transfer window following the acquisitions of defenders Ivan Mesik<\/a>, Billy Koumetio<\/a> and Danny McNamara<\/a>, midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah<\/a>, winger Millenic Alli<\/a> and striker Karlan Grant<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
